Risk assessments are an examination of your working environment and the place in which you carry out work or mange on behalf of others. A risk assessment will ensure that anything that could cause accidents, danger or ill health to any employees, residents, visitors or members of the public is identified. The necessary action can then be taken to eliminate or reduce these risks. Risk Assessments are a requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, this came into force on 29th December 1999 replacing the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.
